Christa Currie, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry, will provide a brief discussion/demonstration of how she pre-records her lectures

Charles Kroncke, Ph.D., Dean of the Division of Business and Associate Professor of Economics, will talk about his use of videos in the classroom.

Chris Boland, Instructional Media Specialist, will present information on copyright issues, the streaming video server, and the equipment and support available through the Instructional Technology department.

SAVE THE DATE! MARCH 23, 2011 – 3-4pm – LIB12

The Instructional Delivery Committee is hosting a session on “Best Practices in the Use of Video in Teaching and Learning” on Wednesday, March 23 from 3-4pm in LIB12.

The session will begin with faculty members sharing how they are using video to support teaching and learning in their courses.

Next, Chris Boland, Instructional Media Specialist, will present information on copyright issues, the streaming video server, and the equipment and support available through the Instructional Technology department.

Going Green at the Mount. Workshop. February 10, 2011

“Dear all!”

IDC Workshop – Feb 10, 2011

The Instructional Delivery Committee will be holding a workshop this Thursday, February 10, from 3-4 pm in LIbrary 16 to help spread the word about all of the Green initiavies going on at the Mount!

Come find out how to:

Run a paperless class

Incorporate issues of sustainability into your course content

Find a wealth of on-line resources

You will also learn about student and faculty/staff initiatives as well as the new Sustainability Minor which will be offered in the Fall of 2011.

Light refreshments will be served, so join us as we explore new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle!
